Good sounding player. perfect addition to our living room. Not expecting hifi but records sound good. Looking for soemthing that looks good and doesn't take up too much space. Gold Accents are good.

Kickstarter Backer - Originally disappointed but they are working with me

My original review of the product was reactive and intense. I was upset by the muting function that was initially implemented and cause some very odd drops in sound while playing certain albums that have soft/quiet parts in songs. I wrote an email to the Fuse team and they are working with me to correct the issue and for that reason I decided to come back and update my review.

The player and the speakers are very nice looking and have a weight to them which makes them feel significant. I would recommend this player to anyone who is not an intense audiophile but really wants a good looking record player that does the trick.

The motor sound is pretty noticeable and I can hear it in the background as my records play if they are at a low volume or a lull in the song. Ideally this would be a much less noticeable and even unheard sound but that is not the case.

Fuse is a smaller company as far as I can tell and I don't want to have anything to do with hurting a small business with an angry review. I was part of the very first batch to receive this device and there were some growing pains but what is really important to note is that the team responded to my concerns and they were willing to work on solutions. Depending how those solutions end up working I'll even be back here to increase this to a 4 out of 5 stars.

I have respect for what these guys are doing and I believe they are trying to make a quality product. I'd be curious to see what kinds of player they come up with in the future.
