Good sounding player. perfect addition to our living room. Not expecting hifi but records sound good. Looking for soemthing that looks good and doesn't take up too much space. Gold Accents are good.

Kickstarter Backer - Disappointed and Mildly Upset

So, much like another reviewer here I was excited to pull my new FUSE GLD record player out and get started listening.

The number one reason I cannot suggest anyone buy this player is the decision to mute songs which reduce their volume. This decision is so insane to me that it only indicates that the people creating these designs are not audiophiles... Listening to some of my favorite albums and having the audio cut totally is a TERRIBLE LISTENING EXPERIENCE. What were you guys even thinking?

Then let's talk about the motor sound. The motor sound is pretty noticeable where it should be almost unheard. I can hear it in the background as my records play. I really thought this was going to be a smart move for a nice looking record player that I could happily display and own but alas it seems that it was too god to be true.

Fuse Audio products do seem to look a bit cheap and gimmicky and based on my first experience with them I can say that is the experience I am having. Joe and the Customer Service team have the ability to solve this but I won't be holding my breath.

If your solution to your brand new product being sent to people is that they break out their DIY record player correction skills then I think maybe you shouldn't be making/selling the product.

Website won't allow me to upload a photo taken with my iPhone because the "upload is taking too long"... so yeah I dunno man. This company needs to prove that it's got its act together because this customer experience is pretty rough.
